Processing developed slide film from a stereo camera

New YouTube movies released.

I have released two movies on YouTube.

The first one is about proper film loading into Wollensak Model 10 stereo camera, so that the frames will not overlap. I had to find this piece of knowledge in an old “Revere 33 guide” book, after my first roll of film had first 4–5 pictures badly mixed. Sadly they were the pictures I cared most about.

The second movie is about processing the developed stereo slide film. I show how to scan it with an inexpensive scanner (PrimeFilm 3650U, works much better for slides than negatives), then cut it with Lutes Film Cutter and mount into EMDE aluminum frames, plus unbranded vintage cardboard foldovers. Why scan? You cannot share stereo slides with your friends 1000 miles away, but you can print a Holmes stereocard for ~25 cents at Walgreens and send them.

Link to a cheap plastic stereo card viewer.

I hope you will find this material helpful, it took me hours to find this information for myself to use, so I can imagine it is as difficult for others.
